Ahmed M. Fadl, MD
Dr. Ahmed M. Fadl earned his combined BA/MA in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University. His early career included pioneering research in advanced imaging protocols at both the Sloan Kettering Institute and Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, followed by specialized graduate studies in applied anatomy at Case Western Reserve University.
Returning to his native New York, Dr. Fadl completed his medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, where he also conducted a year-long clinical research fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at NYU.
Following his surgical internship at Stony Brook, Dr. Fadl completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island, where he served as chief resident. His exceptional performance earned him both the prestigious RSNA Roentgen Ray resident/fellow research award and the SIR resident in training scholarship.
Dr. Fadl further specialized through a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. He holds board certifications in both diagnostic and interventional radiology and has contributed significantly to his field through numerous publications and national conference presentations.
Dr. Fadl established his practice in Pittsburgh, where he served as medical director of imaging at Jefferson Hospital with Foundation Radiology Group. He brings this wealth of experience to IVIRA, focusing on delivering advanced interventional care in a patient-centered environment.
